Unipac Shipping and Continental Agency encourage all companies to take an active role in promoting supply chain and border security.

WHAT IS CTPAT?

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a voluntary government-business initiative focused on strengthening international supply chains and improve United States border security. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection recognizes that the highest level of cargo security can only be achieved through close cooperation with manufacturers, importers, freight forwarders, licensed custom brokers, and cargo consolidators. CTPAT Certified partners are considered to be of low risk, and are therefore less likely to be examined at a U.S. port of entry.

Are Unipac Shipping and Continental Agency CTPAT Certified?

Unipac Shipping (SVI # 43379919) has been CTPAT Certified since March 2007.
Continental Agency (SVI # 80027244) has been CTPAT Certified since September 2008.

What are the benefits of working with a CTPAT Certified partner?

CTPAT Certified partners enjoy the following benefits:
Reduced number of CBP examinations
Front of the line inspections
Business resumption priority following a natural disaster or terrorist attack
